See rfc 2015 for how to have encrypted/signed MIME parts. You might want to take a look at the mutt MUA. It works with PGP to produce signed and/or encrypted messages. For example this message is signed, and you can take a look at the raw headers to get some idea of how things are done. On Wed,

What's the correct MIME type and file suffix for encrypted PGP text, i mean, the ones which begin with, "-BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-"? I'm toying with the idea of dealing with encrypting messages directly through qmail. Don't ask too much. It's a cockamamie idea still in its embryonary stages. b
