Did you ever hear about the difference between environment variables and
shell variables?
You need to do
export MAILDIR
When running maildir2mbox it complains the MAILTMP is not set. It
is! Seems like a bug.
e.g.
>MAILDIR=$HOME/Maildir/

>MAILTMP=$HOME/.mailtemp

Thanks to the ability to make a fool of myself in public I was able to find my
mail. It was in /tmp/mail. How it got there I have no clue. I'm sure I would
I'm confused. I bet the mail is somewhere but I don't know where it could be.
I used maildir2mbox to convert a Maildir and it worked great. I then used it
once more and now I can't figure out where it put my mail. There is no file

Whenever I run maildir2mbox, either directly or using elq etc.. I get:
fatal: MAILTMP not set..

I hate beating this horse, but is there a mbox2maildir and maildir2mbox
that actually put the messages in the new or cur directories correctly? I
have looked at the 3 (2 mbox2maildir and 1 maildir2mbox) on the qmail page
and apparently they don't do this. Thanks.
