Before folks start flaming me, I know Outlook sucks and I know that Microsoft has never written a decent piece of code. With that said... I am using qmail, because it is the best mail server out there. I would like to be able to configure MS Outlook so that it interacts with qmail the same way

we use courier-imapd with no problems on our office mailserver, and some people here use Outlook with no problems. While courier can be a pain at times it's probably the best solution. You could also try UW imapd with the (unofficial) Maildir patches. i don't think anyone has problems moving
