Well, Thomas, that takes us one step closer, I suppose.
After making this change, I no longer get the pbscheck errors, but qmail
still isn't querying from ldap as per our expectations. No ldap message is
being sent across the wire, and the SMTP request isn't being authenticated
for relaying. :(
:allow,SMTPAUTH="",NOPBS=""
and rebuild tcp.smtp.cdb

I think that the search is taking toot long because my records have duplicates
uid=
Eg: uid=test;[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Uid=test;[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I will trie [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hope that this will solve my problem.

It outputs some pbscheck stuff about the con
after ehlo, it sends 3 lines:
250-PIPELINING
250-AUTH LOGIN PLAIN
250 8BITMIME
the only one that wasn't present was 250-DATAZ
