It's easy.. disable any service running pop3 daemon (inetd, tcpserver,...).
If nobody could connect to the 110 port, nobody could check via pop3
daemon, isn't it?

Sorry,
I have courier running with no problem...
My version is courier 3.0.7 and 3.0.8 in another system. The only
problem is to change the path to the binaries. I paste my run scripts:
For IMAPD:
#!/bin/sh
exec 2>&1
#
# IMAP service: this script is for courier-imap
#
QMAIL="/var/qmail"
ME=$(head
This is not a translation. It's a new document. It's my own manual.

Hi all!
I'm trying to create a dynamic search group with qmail-ldap (august patch).
My LDAP entry is like this:
dn: cn=All IT Systems,ou=IT,ou=Central,o=domain,c=ES
cn: Todo Sistemas Inf
mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mailAlternateAddress: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
objectClass: top
objectClass: PosixGroup
objectC
ildir/
This is running in a server running sendmail with qpopper. But will run
also in a qmail server.
Hope you enjoy
