i have a fairly large list of domains which constanly change their ip
addresses how would i block mail from them since i only know their
domain names and not their ip addresses except at the time they try to
connect? it doesnt appear as if ~control/badmailfrom or /etc/tcp.smtp
provides m
i don't claim to understand smtp_auth(yet) and need a few pointers in
the right direction on some questions i have in regards to it under the
current patch, release 10012003. any help with the following questions
is appreciated.
1.) does it work well with the pbsserver functionality (pbsserver

yes i did check this and the appropriate copy has been copied into
place (the previous one was named tcp.smtp and was located in /etc). i
can send you the file if need be.

the problem is that condwrite expects the message on a filehandle(in
this case fd 0) which is seekable. attempting this with a pipe wont
work but there is a package out there to help and its called
seekablepipe. i havent used it and dont know where to get it but
perhaps someelse on the list
another way to do this without patching tcpserver is by using stunnel
to wrap another instance of qmail-pop3.
