I have enabled '--log-details syslog' in the confiure comand line. Log
messages are produced but the format is -

I've discovered that my previuos problem was due to a bug in the
qmail-scanner-queue.pl code. In the spamassassin sub-routine, there is
several checks for the "-c" option on spamc. All checks are done AFTER the
recipient has been added to the $spamc_options. If the recipient contains

I don't really know what you mean by "working before".
Maybe this will help.
However, qmail-scanner was "working" before for me on the previous version. It sounds like your having a similar issue. I also followed the instructions to run as the qscand user
