I'm not sure if this is in the docs or not, here is what I did to get this
to work. Both .67 and 70 worked with Qmail-Scanner 1.21 and was able to
send test emails w/o issue.

1 - change the user in the clamav.conf file
/usr/local/etc/clamav.conf to same user Qmail-Scanner 1.21 was running as,
qscand

Note: i was getting an error in the /var/log/clamav/clamd.log the clamd
process wouldn't startup when I ONLY changed the id in the clamav.conf file
to qscand.

Here is the clamd.log error
+++ Started at Fri Mar 19 23:17:15 2004
Log file size limited to 1048576 bytes.
Running as user qscand (UID 1009, GID 1009)
Reading databases from /usr/local/share/clamav
Protecting against 20587 viruses.
ERROR: Socket file /var/run/clamav/clamd could not be bound: Permission
denied

2 - in the /var/run/clamav directory change the user and group permissions
from root/wheel to qscand/qscand.

3 - my softlimit is 6000000 defined in the qmail-smtpd run file btw. Hope
this holds up.
