My src directory for vpopmail is not in this location,
and i'm confused as to why it is look
How are you starting qmail-pop3d. It sounds like you have a file
permission issue, or more likely you script doesn't tell qmail-pop3d what
to use to authenticate users against
An example for tcpserver is
tcpserver -H -R 0 pop3 \
qmail-popup sysadmin-inc.com \
/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw
make sure that you have mysql library path in /etc/ld.so.conf and run
ldconfig to recompile the (I think its a hash) file
When I run the MAKE it gets to this line:
gcc -g -O2 -o qmailadmin qmailadmin.o alias.o autorespond.o forward.o
mailinglist.o user.o util.o auth.o template.o
Am I wronge or not. Qmailadmin doesn't allow
the list owner or moderator of a list to add and delete
subscripbers. The only person that have access to that control is a domain
admin right???

Why is qmailadmin is limited to only 2
forwards??
have looked at each of these files and they are not symbolic links and I
have looked at the qmailadmin file and can't figure out why this error
message keeps popping up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kevin
the third one in the log
above to be processed, but this doesn't seem to have helped.
Any ideas on how to fix this, or should I just wait ?? days and let the messages
bounce?
Thanks, again for all your help. Thanks to you all, I look like a magician.

address. Is there any way to edit the configuration of
qmailadmin directly to either change the password on the web page, or change this
forwarding mechanism.
Thanks for helping this newbie with what I hope is a straightforward question.

Kevin,
Find the vpopmail/bin directory. Its quite likely /home/vpopmail/bin.
Otherwise, try to find vpasswd
Then, do this: vpasswd [EMAIL PROTECTED]
You'll

Hi,
IF your setup is standard, you can go to
/home/vpopmail/domains/your domain name/ and do a ls -a. You
should see a file called .qmail-mail name. If you edit that, it
should contain the forwarding instructions.
if you look in /home/vpopmail/bin
/ -name vpopmail ' and only found /home/vpopmail and
/var/cron/tab/vpopmail. The /home/vpopmail directory does contain bin, etc, doc,
domains, users and other directories. The cron file seems to be empty, with just a few
comments and no crontab entries in it.
Thanks for your help.

correctly. Now however, on one occasion I got the
message "Transcript of session follows: africaalive.org 450 Host down." I don't know
if other messages are bouncing.
Thanks, Tim for your thoughts and suggestions on my problem.
