I think I did. This was I trial attempt to see how quickly I could get
the qmail setup going. I will probably have to try another day.

I have qmail running now. It can send email to external address and also via
qmail-inject.
However mail I sent is not showing up in the mailboxes.
dnsreport.comindicates that the address exist. What could be happenin?
How can I check that things are working properly?

I have been able to install qmail okay.
The error I faced so far is with clamav failing because it requires
libiconv.so.2. That program often gives me grief.
Is there a way to reinstall it properly?
I am opening up ports 25, 110 and 143, 993 and 995 to see if I will start
getting some responses.

dovecot is (much) faster, lighter and smarter.

-need less processes to r
dovecot handles large mail folders better than courier, I
subscribe to a lot of high volume newsgroups. Searching and bringing up the
first page in the webmail client, takes a long time and even times out
sometimes. I am hoping that dovecot will be better in that respect.

I checked the docs on the simscan and dspam options are not in there. I will
check the ./configure command to see if there will be any. Do you know a few
offhand?
Is it also possible not to use the dspam options in simscan but to use dspam
in the ways described in other docs like
http://dspamwiki
Hi guys,
I want to create a qmail server to use Dovecot IMAP and Dspam.
With the case of Dovecot, I'd like to know if it is possible to
eliminate Courier IMAP from the compilation. Are there some other
dependencies on Courier that will cause the setup to fail and likewise
with Spamassassin as we
