1. Perhaps make the local dns the primary (first) listed in /etc/resolv.conf
2. Have nagios or another monitoring script notify you and / or restart
the secondary dns server when it fails
3. Definitely find out why the second dns server keeps failing and fix it

Hi,
It is a problem with mysql, you might try to remove that file and then
do a yum install (forcing reinstall), on my fresh centos 5 system which
is current it is pointing to a libmysqlclient.so.15 which is really just
a soft link pointer:
# rpm -qa | grep mysql
mysql-5.0.77-4.el5_5.4
libsqlite3.so.0 - libsqlite3.so.0.8.6
Is there anything I miss? Thx.
Best regards,
Bill

daemon, understood, thanks. Will we have an option to run that or simscan?
When I said it ran as a daemon, I meant it can be controlled with the
daemontools scripts and will reside under a supervise script.
I am currently running it on a test host, but it is not running Qmail.
is it in the header you have posted that made you believe so?

Hi,

Hi, is there a way to view/change the compile options for simscan? Is a
complete reinstall required? Is there a way to

Thank you in advance,

I am using qtp-newmodel how do I change the config options for simscan?

Hi,
I have email coming into a user, in the header it looks like
think a complete reinstall is necessary as simscan is, or
used to be, the last module installed per the install script. Someone
else might want to confirm this.
3) I'm not sure that there is a way to automate it to your liking or not.

Hi,
It is sensical:
If you set required_score to, say 5, in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf
all mail that is 5 or above is marked as spam.
If a particular user wants to reject (or mark and passthru) anything
that is 3 or above that can be set in /var/qmail/control/simcontrol for that

ps - why would you use amavis? It doesn't even have SpamAssassin listed

amavisd-new. Most people use the term amavis interchangeably with
amavisd-new these days
so it will run as a daemon and have an entry in tcp.smtp? are you
currently running it?

Hi,
I am sorry if these are on the list but I cannot find the latest and

to do the following:
1. Automatically delete spam that is over a certain threshold as it

2. Set per user thresholds.
