Thanx! I just need COS5 because of compatibility with kloxo and openvpn and

If you're rebuilding, I suggest doing so with COS6. It's a lot
simpler. The directions are here:

You helped a lot, sometimes is just like this :)
I will give a look on /var/qmail/control/ before rebuilding just in case, thanx!

Sorry we couldn't find the problem. Maybe we'll get another chance
when you rebuild. ;)
I notice in man qmail-remote that it will refuse to
Great! Will surely do. Thanx!

You still might use the new (sans-toaster) packages. They should
work ok on COS5 as well as COS6. Same instructions apply, although
there's no 'minimal' COS5 install IIRC. Just deselect what you
don't want during OS install. Anything that's
After installing DKIM on a Cnetos 5 dedi with kloxo, qmail started to fail.
First I was getting Unable to run qmail-remote. After some attempts to

If you're sending to yourself, qmail-remote shouldn't come into
play.
Do these look ok?
[root@tacs-mail queue]# ls -l /var/qmail/queue
total 36

Probably should check your other bin files, just to be sure:
[root@tacs-mail bin]# ls -l /var/qmail/bin
Here it is:
[root@glob221 ~]# ls -l /var/qmail/bin
total 1164
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root qmail 9152 May 13 2009 bouncesaying
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root qmail 26328 May 13 2009 condredirect
-rwxr-xr-x
When I run
ls -l /var/qmail/bin
I get all files in green but I get in red the following:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Jun 21 15:36 qmail-queue - qmail-queue.orig
-rws--x--x 1 qmailq qmail 24780 May 13 2009 qmail-queue.orig
