rpms for the latest ganglia release (http://ganglia.sourceforge.net) are now available in the qtp yum repo if anyone wants to try it out. I hope they'll be available at rpmforge soon as well.

I'd like to eventually see a metric configuration designed specifically for QMT. The present qmailmrtg-toaster (/stats-toaster/) doesn't cut it for me.

FWIW, I also looked at Montorix and Munin. I liked both, especially Montorix's presentation. I liked ganglia best though because of its scalability, architecture, and small footprint. I figure the presentation will be easy enough to tailor to taste.

Note, this is not a supported piece of software. If you want to try it out, great. If you want to discuss your experiences with it, please do so on the plug-devel list.
