Is spamdyke 5 production ready? I notice the qtp-install-spamdyke script uses

BTW, in that script, I noticed these lines are wrapped, causing the comments to
be left out of the generated conf files:
echo "# These are words which will reject the sender"
>$CONF_DIR/blacklist_keywords
echo "# when matched in an rDNS name along with an IP address."

I fixed the line wrap in the subversion repo, so that'll be included
when I cut another release (which may be quite a while if ever). Thanks
for pointing it out though.
I suppose spamdyke 5.0.0 is production ready, even though I hesitate
installing any .0 release in production. It's been out quite a while,
and I expect Sam would have fixed any serious problems by now. I don't
recall seeing anything major on the spamdyke list (which would probably
be a better place to ask this question).
I don't intend to upgrade the qtp-install-spamdyke script for v5. I do
intend to upgrade the spamdyke rpm to 5 when it's configured on port 587
to handle authentication. That will probably happen in conjunction with
the next qmail release, which realistically will probably make it to
testing status early next year.
If you'd like to give spamdyke 5 a shot, feel free to have at it, and
please let us know how you make out with it.
Thanks.
