Hi, I have a toaster box that was upgraded from COS4 to COS5. It had only one domain and what I did was I symlinked the domain from the partition having the COS4 installation: # pwd /home/vpopmail/domains # ls -lah mydomain.dom lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 49 Apr 4 2012 mydomain.dom -> /mnt/cos4_root/home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain.dom Apparently qtp-newmodel does not like this: " Installing qmail-toaster-1.03-1.3.22 in the sandbox ... error: failed to stat /mnt/cos4_root: No such file or directory Preparing... ################################################## Adding qmailtoaster users and groups. groupadd: group nofiles exists groupadd: group qmail exists qmail-toaster ################################################## error: unpacking of archive failed on file /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp;52166c18: cpio: open failed - Inappropriate ioctl for device qmail-pop3d-toaster ################################################## <end of log messages> qtp-build-rpms - see /mnt/qtp-sandbox/usr/src/qtp-upgrade/log/build-recent.log for more details Build failed, Exiting. I'm not sure the symlink is your problem I have /home/vpopmail/domains symlinked w/ no issue.
The "error: unpacking of archive failed on file" message is what concerns me. That would appear to be a corrupt rpm file.
Try setting up your symlink at /home/vpopmail/domains to point to /mnt/cos4_root/home/vpopmail/domains and see if that works for you. When you try it again, use a fresh sandbox.
