Spamassassin 3.2.3 seems to work well now...
I deleted sa-blacklist.cf rule file (it was 20MB) and I tweaked the network
plugins (disabled: dcc and pyzor, enabled: razor2);
In message header reported scantime is around 1.6
I'm using qtp-sa-update for rules updating.
I notice a little memory leak
Updated to spamassassin 3.2.3
Sometimes the system is slow and in /var/log/qmail/log/spamd/current
I've noticed this strange line:
info: prefork: server reached --max-children setting, consider raising it
What about?
Regards.
Domenico.

Solved with:
qmailctl cdb (same as service qmail cdb)
...although I've restarted the system yesterday after upgrade.
Thanks.

Hello
you may find the explanation here
http://archives.devshed.com/forums/networking-100/rdns-none-and-qmail-2361420.html
but 3.20 & 3.21 had another very annoying bug, all mails were tagged
with RDNS_NONE
by all I mean 100% of the mails :)
3.2.23 fixed that issue, to be honest I didnt check

hello,
Thank you. I did it on my first server and everything is working nice.
I'll let you know if something happen when I update other server.

Hello pakogah
actually it depends a bit on your system (regarding the missing perl
packages)
but when you try to upgrade spamassassin via rpm -Uvh, actually just do
-Uvh --test and you ll know
you may or may not have missing dependencies
if you do simply add them through rpmforge (I only had

Odd. I'm on Centos 4.5
Nope, I didn't know about the RPMForge installations until now. Let
me test with that.

Have you installed the rpmforge list sent out earlier?

Hopefully someone can dig up which perl modules to install via

Once 1.4 is released, I will modify the documetnation to match as we
