Given below is the suggestion and guide lines from Erice Shubert regarding
sending mail using alias.
we use mysql on Qmailtoaster, so your aliases/forwards are
defined in the mysql database, not in text files. Use qmailadmin to
create aliases or use the command line tool

Iam Jagadindu , and We have shifted our mail from QMR to QMT , that is
working fine. But now , I am having this problem of sending mail to an alias.
The alias is created by echo j...@bhu.ac.in /var/qmail/alias/qmail-jrd and
then sending a mail to
j...@bhu.ac.in
The mail is not
