M not able to receive mails from @hdfcbank.com. When I checked the smtp
logs, I got following spf-reject log.

Some time ago (could be 2 years or so) I backed off my spfbehavior from
3 to 1 due to some sort of problem with SPF checking. Might have been
when SPF rejections weren't logged.
I'll just bump it (back) up to 3 and see what happen

I spent a little time looking through archives for an issue with SPF
checking. There was an issue related to SPF and Blackberries in 2006.

You should do It in the DNS Server that has your domain zone (master).
Probably your own DNS Server (or is it just a cache server?
