Just a question: why not a XSL trasformation? Both GUI builder and qxtrasformer uses XML. This way you could leave untached the GUI builder code. No upgrade problems when a new release come out ecc ecc. I'm investigating the same model: develop XML deploy with qooxdoo with gnome with Problabl
