Hi everybody.
We use framework qooxdoo for our project and we decided use the selenium for
testing.
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
TEST: easy test of login. There are two text fields (login name and
password) and login button. Each item has id (set by qooxdoo function
setHtmlProberty("id", "idValue")).
All right, folks. We all have our preferred environments, and some of us
are even bigots who love to argue
this. :-) It's a religious discussion with strong opinions on all sides.
There are plenty of appropriate places for this sort of conversation, but it
has now diverged pretty far from the in

What were the issues then? Because here ie with wine runs fine.
All of them, ie55, ie6 and ie7 (or at least, its render-engine)

Seriously, how could you use linux for webdevelopment without virtualisation
for a "normal" market?

Seriously, what is the fear of linux?
People preferring to mess with virtualisation.. (well at least the

Still, installing VMWare or Cygwin is much more difficult than just
installing a decent modern linux distrobution.

At least, for those having one (good, latest) computer, would use vmware
server (free virtualization program).
Can virtualize many linux distribs and very pretty good features for
starters (snapshots, copy/paste vm dir to save it in another place).

Odd, I have been using cygwin for the past couple of years and have had 0
issues. I only use it to make the project. I do everything else in Windows.
All of my editing and SVN stuff is done in Windows where I am most
comfortable. When I have everything ready, I pop over to the cygwin window

Hello All,
While I cannot comment on the VirtualPC stuff or emulators etc. I can
comment on cygwin. It works! We have been using cygwin for over a
decade and it allows to seamless move back and forth between our Unix
& Windows boxes.
