(Hopefully I understand you correctly that you are wondering why people aren't coming and helping with documentation & articles?)
Personally, I am not ignoring any request for help making documentation. However, I have posted the same question (solved it myself now, was a silly mistake) twice on the mailing list here and it wasn't answered. I don't know if it was because it was such a simple problem that it wasn't deemed important or if it just got lost in the sea of mailing list.
Regardless, it is important to have qooxdoo's experts address all attempts for others to becom experts themselves. That way the bulk of answering small questions can be done by more than just a handful of people.
