Hi all, due to a mistake (at least I think this is not intended ;-) in the overridden method qx.ui.form.PasswordField._createInputElement() no "input" event is fired, although this widget is derived from qx.ui.form.TextField. I have opened a bug (#1379) with a possible fix in the comment field.
