I've read the page http://manual.qooxdoo.org/1.3/pages/core/defining_properties.html#working-with-inheritance And I'm wondering why do you decide to require the developer to specify that a properties is inherited. Why all properties are not inheritable by default ? As a java programmer this look strange. Furthermore when members are all inherited.
