Just to butt into this thread. The company I work for would consider a
support contract if it would be available.
But I don't know what people expect from support contracts (never used
them myself). The support you get here on the mailing list is already
1-weekday reply.

Welcome to the wonderful wourld of qx. A few people where I work were a
little concerned when we made the switch to qx for exactly that reason.
Although since we've started making use of the mailing list, I've found
that the support from the community is just as good as - if not better

no, I'm afraid as it stands neither the core team nor 1&1 offer commercial
support for qooxdoo,
