Hi.
I tested the TextArea even outside my application.
It doesn't work on PC/Linux with Chromium 34 and Firefox 28.
It doesn't work on an iPad with Safari (iOS 7.1).
It doesn't work on PC/Windows with IE 11.
It DOES work in the system browser in a Samsung Galaxy Note II.
It DOES work and in a Gal

how did you test the TextArea ? On which device did you have that problem?
Inside the Mobile Showcase we added the "readonly" flag with the newest
version.
