Sebastian, Would you please try to be much more detailed in your commit log messages. You're making lots of changes (great!), but the only way those of us watching the namespaces branch can tell what you're doing is by reviewing each line of each patch. It would be much easier if you could (a) tell us, on this list, what you're working on, and (b) generate a detailed log message with each commit telling what you did and why.
