Can someone give me a short snippet how to use a BackgroundImage in a
Window-Titlebar. I can just change the backgroundColor.

the settings of the window-titlebar (and of all other widgets) are
defined in the appearance-theme (
qx.theme.appearance.DefaultAppearanceTheme ).
