Qt is very nice toolkit, I have used it for some school projects and
layouting is really really very close to this in qooxdoo (only
difference is that in qx the widgets are added to layout itself).
But I think that one of best features in qooxdoo is oo system:)

A lot of things, especially the new layouting and child controls are
heavily inspired by QT.
