I've managed to get Jambi to build OK. I had to learn the same lesson you did,
but it turns out that if you run the vcvars32.bat script, that problem gets
handled for the most part.
The part of this that has me hung up is getting the bridge to build. There

When you run vcvars32.bat, it seems to set the envs in quote marks (" "). I
guess in Windows, that's how you tell the OS to read spaces as part of a path.
