You can use the latest version of the eclipse integration by supplying
eclipse with a path to an older qtjambi version.
Your project itself references any qtjambi version you would like.
I am working like this several time know and did not run into any problems.

I just tested the eclipse integration with ubuntu (32 bit, however) - it
works.
So if I'm not mistaken your problem is not the eclipse integration but the
(new) jambi libraries itself?
As I mentioned before afaik there is trouble with the QWebkit in the new
libraries, see the following bug :
