They don't usually do surgery unless you are loosing function. If you haven't got a baclophen pump in, they may suggest it for pain. Sorry to hear it is messing with you.  Maybe they can slip you some stem cells. Go in with pain and leave a day later with a limp. I do wish you the best. john
