With Jim's permission I wanted to let the group know about the film MURDERBALL, which I am a publicist for.
The film is about Quad Rugby in general, and specifically tracks the US Paralympic Rugby team over several seasons. It also tracks a man who is newly injured as he progresses through rehab and ultimately becomes interested in trying out for the Rugby team.
It won the Audience Award at the Sundance film festival, and has continued on the festival circuit to great critical acclaim.
THINKFilm is releasing it on July 8 in about 10 cities. If you want some more info, you can go to www.thinkfilmcompany.com and look at the film's page under the "coming soon" section.
Also, we are screening the film for press over the next few months in Los Angeles, so if any of you live here and want to see it before it's out in theaters, let me know and I'll give you the information about our screenings.
I don't think I'm supposed to attach pictures here, but I have stills from the film, along with a packet with interviews by the filmmakers and info about the making of the film that I can email people individually if you're interested too.
