so true. I myself never gained any use of my muscles, but my ability to sit
upright and do things increased much more through repetitive work. I was
able to get the use of my diaphragm and therefore don't have to use a
ventilator to breathe. I am a C23 quadriplegic incomplete.

Para's are much more easier to compare, physical strength.Quads are so
much different, like snowflakes. One issue with C-Quads is muscle fatigue.
Physical Therapist, that work with C-Quads know that if they allow a
client to over exercise a muscle, permanent damage could occur.
My husband is an incomplete C3 quad able to move every muscle except still weak
after almost 1.5 years of therapy (started out at 6 hours per week and now up
to 10 hours per week). People tell me ten hours of therapy per week is not
enough, especially when they only work on one muscle group 15
