A good wheelchair place should be able to get after-market pads or make them. The place I used CARE, I hated the office people, but the repair guys always did good jobs at getting my chairs to fit right. They made brackets and pads to get my seating and switches just right. Greg Hi

For openers, (quad comedy) have you considered a Velcro strap? Applied at the knees or just above the knees with decorative covering. Also I would contact the chair provider to see if there are calf curbs. But you always have to consider the end result from anything rubbing against your legs

If your knees are splayed in that fashion, as are mine, you should consider, again, if your chair is REALLY fitted properly, the entire length of your thigh should be taking pressure. do your legs move in and out freely? If so, you may need to lower your foot rest or raise your seat pan so

Good Answer. And it just might be the right answer... but not the best answer. If you lower the leg rest too much, you may never be abled to cross door thrushold without tipping forewards. It has to be a perfect match. Lower the legrest too much and you may have problems. Raise the legrest
