Tetraplegic is the same thing as quadriplegic. It's the more "medical" term. Tetra comes from the Greek word "tettares" which means four.

I was diagnosed as a complete for many years, but they finally have come around to saying "with partial incomplete" blah, blah. My rehab doc also calls me tetraplegic. I'm a c-6 in one arm, c-5 in the other. He only says it when he has a student doc with him.
