When we first moved into our house there were a lot of skinks all
around. Now they have all vanished. We also had a hive of carpenter
bees. Also gone.
Seeing fewer and fewer Monarch butterflies. I understand they are
expected to become extinct within 20 years.

I went outside over a rug in front of the door and squish. A lizard was under the rug. They are very common, everywhere round here. But I still feel kind of bad. I like them. I run over scorpions often on purpose when I see them inside the house, but they can hurt
