Hi Derrick...Straight cathing and any type of indwelling catheters does increase the chance of UTI's but as far as the hemorrids go, my doctor prescribed a tube creme, I think its called PROCTOZOLI used to bleed a lot and have a bad time but we now use that if hemorroids are getting bad or ble
