I don't know how someone could mentally stay with it for 54 months in bed. It 
makes prison look like a cakewalk. Im personally having trouble with pain 
that's put me into severe depression. Folks don't get started on oxycodone. Its 
actually over time made my pain worse. I just started on my 16th year on 
wheels. im not sure what happened to me, but when my therapy/swim sessions 
ended, my life went in the downhill direction.

So sorry to hear that. I hope this year goes a lot smoother for you. I have a 
friend, a low-level para actually, who just spent 54 months in bed. Three of 
those years he was not even at homeā€¦ A nursing home. He is only in his 40s. He 
finally got to go home last week.
