I had the flu and double pneumonia both within a five-year span about 15-20
years ago. I wound up in icu and just about died both times. I believe the pnu
was worse because I couldn't cough; they tilted my head downwards and pounded
on my chest. I have made it a point to stay vaccinated for
I just got out of hospital with the flu, uti infection, colon infection
and touch pneumonia.
It was rough being in a very rural hospital, that locals call the
Band-Aid Station.
I usually get flu shot but didn't this year. They said it would not of
helped with flu strain going around.
