Hi people beyond the lists! I have a Q700 with 8.0 on it (know 8.1 would be better but that can wait...) someone gave me a 4.3GB harddrive (WD4360-003) it works normallyl, this programs SCSI Probe recognises it - even that it was on Compaq-PC (doesn't know its GB size), but it won't mount - it tells there's a scsi -7932 (or -7952?? :-/) error __ probably termination, software problem?? although it ought be properly terminated jumpers (not with resistors) - Anyway, I can't repair it till I know what does this error code mean - had no succes in looking for it :-( what can I do??? I got a small seagate driver - and very small one... is there a possibility to use it as a second driver, internal or external? - I could leave the mac open :-). I have an AppleCd300 which is also terminated - can it cause problems 'cos of termination? Its the first and last external device.
