Put a new rotor arm on - the old one was quite badly burnt. Also went back to basics with the carb set up and made sure the throttle cable was correctly adjusted Now running very nicely and ticking over at 800rpm, Need to get the front end back on and give it a road test but can't get it out of th

H4 build manual (Aug 1998 edition, page 31.110 ) contains a letter to Mark Wooldridge from VI Swansea ref door window glass on Saloon, 2+2 and H4. Think I also have letter from manufacturer of rear screen somewhere. Both were accepted as enough evidence by Beverly SVA centre in 2002 Gerry --

Sam, The good news is that the car is designed to pass without problems provided nothing too adventurous has been added. My H4 did not pass first time for two reasons: 1. The Lambda was out of range on the emissions for the 1.8 Zetec. This has never really been cured but sealing each joint on
