Any one know of a H4 Nr Durham / Newcastle?
I have been contacted by a prospective buyer for ours but he does not
know much about them.
If there is an owner in the area willing to 'show' thier car I may need
thier help.
Thanks in advance
Gary

I think thats going to be it, the H4 earths most things through the
chassis as per the Fiesta but if the horns are mounted on the fibreglass
they will need earthing.
Are your electric window switchs in the doors or the centre console ?
Either way, check for 12 volts between the black/yellow an
Yes the relay "clicks"
There's only one connection, one each horn, so I'll try earthing them,
when I can get to the car.
Probably have to be the weekend

I bought my tow bar from QSC, it is a standard tow bar with a couple of
relatively minor mods. I am assuming the original tow bar is a standars
MK2 fiesta, but could be wrong.

That may be your problem then.
Check the horns, if they have 1 terminal then they need the body to be
earthed.
The 2 horn cars have a relay in the fusebox, single horn cars run
straight from the switch.
Can you hear a click from the fusebox when you press the horn.

Ok.
Has the car got 1 or 2 horns ? (makes a difference).
Look for the red/yellow wire (might be yellow/red) connected to the horn
and make sure the body of the horn is earthed.
Is the wiring for the electric windows original Ford ?
If so it's a separate sub loom running between the doors and plu
