you are never too old.
We dont stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop
playing.
Good excuse to me.
Could be fun though, considering you can get a dry kit for about £150
on ebay, minus the gas. more bhp then a new cam, for less then the
price of one.
Ill tell you how it goes i
I remember my friend had it fitted on his lotus carlton. There was a switch
that was activated at wide open throttle (there didn’t seem any need for
progressive). You could flick the switch at idle and the revs jumped a bit
- flat out and the car went sideways :-)
No no no, I must forget about
What i know of the possible problems were that it cools the engine,
you need to 'retard' the timing, cooler spark plugs. There can also be
a fueling issue.
Luckily mines a wet kit so it has the nitrous and fuel solunoid, which
means that it should hopefully work independently of the current fuel

How and why were old kits destructive?
I'm aware that if you stick 500+ bhp on top of whatever you've got in a CVH
then you are asking for trouble, however what's the difference to turbo
charging it? So long as you avoid pre detonation.. Shirley?

I know one one guy who has used mini tanks turned on their edge
(mounted like a diamond) and modified the sender and fuel pick up to
lift from the lower point of the diamond. According to this guy, this
has the same effect as a swirl pot as the fuel has no real space in
which to surge. One mou
>From what I've read it needs brazing/welding really, or swapping to an
injection tank that’s had modification if you're not happy doing it yourself

about it. So its now a fibreglass flap that leaks fuel.
Im going to have to replace the fuel tank for the Turbo build anyway
so are there any suggestions as to wh

As has been said, your tank should be an injection one, only ever sold
in Europe for the Mk2 Fiesta.
If it's an original Ford one and it's only a small rust hole then i'd
consider trying to repair it, you can buy rubber material for this purpose.
If you get a pattern injection one then look car
Old Quantum did at least one 2+2 with power steering so it's certainly
possible.
The hyraulic pump isn't a problem nowadays as many small cars use an
electric one which can be mounted anywhere in the engine bay (or
probably even in the boot if need be !).
Darren has fitted the electric setup f
