I found a cartridge of polyurethane adhesive in the local builders merchants
called CT1 which appears to be identical to sikafex, about £9 a cartridge,
so may not be cheaper, but could be easier to source.

I heed some help.
I have spent the last six hours trying to fit the mirrors I have for the H4.
I have taken of the near side mirror OK.
Made a template and drilled the fixing holes.
Despite checking before drilling, the holes did not quite line up, so made them
bigger.
BUT
I keep mine.
Can't say I file them.

Thanks for the reply.
Can you remember where you got your adhesive from?
I think my glass give way because of the air pressure inside the car
when the door is closed. The air can not get out fast enough and the
windows are pushed outwards slightly, weaking the hold the adhesive
has on t
