That's a lot further proud than it should be, it should be pretty much
flush.
Does your header rail have the 3 recess in it that the blocks locate into ?
Can you take a picture of the front of the header rail ?

same. My latest game is tunnel running - gotta love all that noise...
We timed it just wrong on the way home at the weekend though and hit a cloud
burst 1/2 a mile from home on the slow roads.

cheers for the reply Jim, i may have it figured out now
it looks like a previous owner had been a bit ham fisted (odd since
its usually me that breaks things) and not had the center lug aligned
properly when latching the catches which has led to the angle plate
bending in and breaking the fiberg
