If it's a shuttle type pump, mounting it horizontally like mine was can shorten it's life. If it lets you down in the middle of nowhere then they can be resuscitated with tap from a 1lb 'encourager' or the handle of a large screwdriver :-) If the wiring is sound and there is not an isolator in
