Reading the haynes manual i think they are as follows:
other fiesta's before 86 - 34 litres
XR2's before 86 - 38 litres
every fiesta after 86 - 40 litres
my 2+2 is based on 88 XR2 so (i think) has the 40 litre fuel tank.
