Hello all, a stupid questions really but anyone have trouble in the winter
of opening doors on a 2+2? Recently, I haven't been able to open the doors!
Any suggestions apart from the obvious?

Do you mean you can’t unlock them, the handle doesn’t work to open them, or
they are just frozen shut ?

I have used "Fibreglass colour restorer" made by Star brite, intended for boats
with very good results cost about £15 a bottle around the same size as a large
T-Cutt bottle. Followed up with a coat of marine polish by the same people,
same size bottle at £22, all available on e-bay

You just need to rub the rubber seal with either some silicone grease,
Vaseline, or i believe washing up liquid.
Not loads, just put some on a cloth and rub it on the seal.

Yeah, sorry, should have said. Frozen shut, the handle is fine but I have
to pull very hard and I think one day the handle will just rip off.

Don't know if it's available retail (suspect it will be, maybe under a
different name), but on the Rail industry we use a product called Killfrost for
door seals, brake gear, even points. On seals it is sprayed on as a
preventative measure rather than free already frozen seals.

and me wanting to make it my own..
