Thank you Adrian..once again very helpful. I was hoping to avoid all the
rewiring needed if I replaced the Ford unit with something else...but it may
well come to that so this info. is very welcome I knew of CBS, but the other

Kudos to the solution from Keith; always nice when you have a lathe to hand.
If anyone wants a laugh at the five-cylinder kit car (does anyone know of
another 5-cylinder kit?) then I'll be at Stoneleigh for the AGM on
Interior only adds weight and slows you down. Come to think of it, so do
doors and a roof ;)
