From memory, I think the feed is 8mm, and return is 6mm - have you any of
the 'nylon' original to measure? Copper pipe from a plumbers merchants in 8mm
is sometimes an economical purchase.
Brake pipe fittings (again from memory) are 10mm for 3/16 pipe, but ISTR the
master cylinder

Oops - was sure I purchased 10/8mm for mine - just got the measuring stick
out, and I have 8/6mm. Must have had a senior baldy bloke moment. Thanks

I would suggest copper nickel / cupro nickel fuel pipe.. more resistant to
the E5 / E10 fuels that are out there / on the way.
